You felt secure around the American. You really did. Ever since you were young, America took you in and has treated you like a sister. You enjoyed his company, and he enjoyed yours. You were the country of (c/n), and depended mostly on America when things get bad in your country.

You knew that he only sees you as a sister, and it was fine with you. You had some special feelings for him for some time, but never admitted it to the American. You love his baby blue eyes, his sandy blond hair, and also that adorable cowlick sticking out. But you knew it would never come true.

You sighed deeply when you looked around the meeting that was being held. You sat right next to America and Canada, and heard the many news around the countries. Like usual, America wasn't listening and started playing in his phone, while you took notes quietly and listened to everyone's complaints or achievements.

The meeting ended quickly, and you got up from your seat. You piled up all of your papers into a neat stack, and placed all of them into your briefcase. America looked up, looking around, and saw the meeting ending. "It's over already?" He asked, looking towards you.

"Yeah, just a few minutes ago." You answered, nodding your head.

"You should've at least heard my part of the meeting, America." Canada whispered, looking at him. You heard him obviously, but the American didn't and grabbed your hand.

"Whatever. Come on, (c/n)! Were going somewhere!" You raised an eyebrow, and grabbed your briefcase.

"Where?"

"Somewhere awesome! Don't worry!"

You face-palmed, but you couldn't help but smile. The two of you left, and Canada saw you both leaving the room. He sighed, and got up by himself, and went to his place to eat some pancakes.

America then stopped on his tracks, with you behind him. You blinked, and looked around. "Where are we?" You asked, looking around. America smiled, and grabbed your shoulders.

"(c/n)... Your the best sister I could ever have." America said, and hugged you. You gasped, and hugged him back. It doesn't matter if he doesn't like you, what matters is that he cares for you. At least that's what your trying to say to yourself.

You both parted away, and gave America a smile. "You still didn't answer my question." You said, hitting his arm lightly. The American laughed, and gave you a silly smile.

"Remember? This is the place where I first met you." He said, looking at the play ground in front of you. You looked at the swings and slides, all full of color and life in it, just like those many years ago.

Flashback

You fell down to the ground, gasping for air. Your country is being ruined, all because of the stupid war that was happening. You heard your people's screams and pleads, but you couldn't do anything. You ran away from the Hell pit, and didn't stop, until you fell down somewhere.

You didn't know where you were, but didn't care. You were escaping from where you are from, and didn't want to go back. You looked up, and saw a playground. The heavy rain didn't bother lighting up, so you went to the playground and stayed under a slide.

You were shivering, and felt your life almost giving up. You didn't want to end like this, and began to close your eyes slowly. If you accept that your going to die, then the pain will slowly but less painfully kill you. You took a long breath, and prepared to end your little life, until someone saved you.

"Hey dudette, what're you doin?"

You looked up, and opened your eyes closely. What you saw was a young man, probably around his late teens or early twenties, and wearing a bomber jacket. He had an American umbrella on top of him, and looked at you confusingly. You stared at him, until you felt your cheeks full of tears.

"Hey, don't cry." He said, grabbing your hand, and heading you get up. "Don't cry. What's your name?" You looked at him, and sniffed.

"(C/n)..."

"A country? Then I'm America!" He exclaimed, pointing at himself, "And I'm the hero!" You looked at him, until you felt your lips twitch and forming a smile, and then a giggle.

America smiled when you laughed, and got you up to your feet. "Hey, don't be afraid. I'm here to help you, okay?" You nodded, and followed him on his side. "Hey, since your here, I wonder if you enjoy watching horror movies cause I want to watch some..."

End of flashback

You smiled at the memory, and placed your hand on your chest. "After that, you treated me with all kinds of stuff. Candy, McDonalds, junk food. You made into what I am now. And I appreciate it." America smiled, and placed a hand on your shoulder.

"Say (c/n)..." America began to say, looking at you. "You don't mind being with me, right?" You looked up at him, and gave him a playful smile.

"Of course I don't!" You teased, and walked into the swings. America blinked, confused at your answer.

"Wait, does that mean no?" He asked, and followed you. "Wait, (c/n)!" You laughed, and ignored the American. "Don't ignore me, dudette! I'm your older and superior brother!"

As much as you love the American, he can sometimes be a dimwit, but that's what makes you love him even more.

Your American brother.
